Berms in the forest

There are berms everywhere, and smooth, perfectly shaped banked corners leading to jumps litter the mountain. Roots and ladders, bridges and logs, dust and loam, super tack all describe the riding surface here in whistler. Along the way getting here I realized I forgot my passport, already in Seattle when it hit me I re-evaluated my plan. Instead of heading directly to BC I took a detour to Leavenworth WA, and went on a awesome ride with the locals there. I arranged to have my passport shipped to a friends house in Bellingham WA and after spending a day In Leavenworth headed there next. Again I was taken on a epic ride right out side of town In Bellingham, on a massive trail system littered with stunts, berms and jumps. After a really nice delay I finally made it Whistler and have been loving it ever since. Trails were a bit dusty at first but we have now received a bit of rain and trails are tacky, loamy and FUN. I love it here, in the winter or summer it is a world class freeriding spot. Check out the Helmet cam video below for a quick glimps into the fun here at Whistler.
